How to register for your free tickets
The University at Albany Speaker Series special event with Olympian Aly Raisman will be held
7:30 p.m. Monday, December 3,
SEFCU Arena, University at Albany Uptown Campus,
1400 Washington Avenue, Albany NY 12222.
This is a University Speakers Series event, and not a normal Writers Institute event, and registration is appreciated.
The event is free, but registration required. Two per registrant.
Free parking is available in the athletic complex and in the Dutch Quad parking lots (there will be signage). Shuttle buses will be available from the Dutch Quad lots. See map.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Click on the underlined word login in the sentence “Please login to purchase tickets.”
If you are a member of the general public (including alumni), click on the purple button that says “General Public.” If you are current a faculty member, staff or student, click the other button.
Most members of the general public will need to fill out a “New User Registration.” Unless you have already created a password for previous events (e.g. athletic events or Justice Sotomayor’s event), please fill out all fields on this page.
You MUST press the blue button that says “Save” at the bottom of the page.
You will need to indicate the number of tickets you are ordering (maximum of 2 tickets per registration).
You must press the button that says “Checkout” on this page even though the tickets are free.
You will be taken to a second page that asks if the ticket holders are alumni. You must press “Checkout” (again!) on this page.
You will receive an email with a PDF attachment that contains the tickets.
Click “Print/Save all tickets” to download a PDF of your ticket(s).
Bring the tickets to SEFCU Arena.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Event begins at 7:30 p.m.
