Louise Aronson is author of the New York Times bestseller, Elderhood: Redefining Aging, Transforming Medicine, Reimagining Life (2019). The reviewer for Nature magazine called it, “Exquisitely written… a new paradigm: a re-balancing act in which technology has a role but the focus returns to care…. One can only hope its practices are adopted swiftly.”
Aronson is a professor of medicine at UC San Francisco, where she directs the UCSF Health Humanities and Social Advocacy Initiative.
