Bestselling author and “excellence” guru Brad Stulberg is set to speak at the University at Albany Tuesday, February 3, on his recently published book The Way of Excellence: A Guide to True Greatness and Deep Satisfaction in a Chaotic World.

Stulberg’s book highlights how to achieve personal satisfaction and how to discover your potential amongst the chaos of everyday life. This is his fourth publication, joining three books focused on self-growth and life coaching that include Master of Change (2023) and Groundedness (2021).

With the publication of The Way of Excellence just last week, Stulberg sat down with Michael Easter, the writer of a health and wellness blog called Two Percent, and discussed how this book differed from the lessons taught in his previous publications.

“This book isn’t about hacks or habits in isolation, but adopting excellence as a way of being -- something that shapes your identity, your values, and how you show up in the world,” said Stulberg.

In addition to an author and performance coach, Stulberg practices his way of excellence as an adjunct professor for Health Management and Policy at the University of Michigan. He is also notable for his contributions to the New York Times and has been published in the Wall Street Journal and the Atlantic.

The event with Stulberg will take place in the University at Albany’s Campus Center Ballroom. Stulberg will be signing books at the end of the event and The Way of Excellence:A Guide to True Greatness and Deep Satisfaction in a Chaotic World will be available for purchase.
