Here's a fun event being organized by our friend and author Tom Schreck, author of the Duffy Dombrowski and Trace Curran mystery series...
On Wednesday, June 25, McGeary's Irish Pub in Albany will host Murder and Mayhem in Metroland, a "Noir at the Bar" event featuring an extraordinary lineup of crime fiction writers from New York and beyond.
The evening will include live readings, storytelling, audience interaction, and book signings from bestselling and award-winning authors including Reed Farrel Coleman, Peter Blauner, Vincent Zandri, Gary Earl Ross, Lissa Marie Redmond, Gabriel Cohen, Stephen Eoannou, Jeff Schober, and others.
While readers know these authors from bookstores and libraries, "Noir at the Bar" brings literature into a more relaxed setting. Think of it as part literary reading, part live performance, and part night out.
The event is free and open to the public, making it an accessible opportunity for Capital Region readers and mystery fans to meet some of the most accomplished crime writers in the Northeast.
