Noted author, teacher, memoir editor and writing coach Marion Roach Smith is offering “Memoirama,” a 90-minute interactive webinar that will give you the tools to get writing your story immediately.

Marion is a former New York Times staffer and author of four books. She has coached hundreds of very successful writers. She is the author of The Memoir Project: A Thoroughly Non-Standardized Text for Writing and Life (Grand Central Publishing).

Marion is a friend of The New York State Writers Institute and she is offering this class as a fundraiser, with all proceeds going to the NYSWI. We are grateful to Marion for her generous support!

In other Writers Institute news...

Here is an update on our March Matchness challenge. At the halfway mark of the two-week campaign, we have received $3,130 in donations. That's 63% of our $5,000 goal. All gifts will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000, thanks to a generous challenge grant gift from our longtime supporters Alice Green and Charles Touhey. There is still time to make a donation. We are grateful for your support at any level.

The campaign ends on March 31. You can make your gift online at this link:
