We’re always looking for creative ways to boost attendance at our literary events.

Many of you already help make that happen — bringing friends, following us on Facebook and Instagram and sharing our social media posts, or forwarding emails to your book-loving circles. And we appreciate it!

This fall, we’re adding something new: the NYS Writers Institute Passport.

The NYS Writers Institute Passport

Here's how it works:

1 - Come to any of our fall season events and ask one of our team members for your very own Passport.

2 - Bring it with you to each event you attend.

3 - Show your Passport to a team member and we’ll give it a stamp.

The first five attendees to collect 10 stamps will each receive a $50 gift card to the local, independent Book House of Stuyvesant Plaza.

Grand prize:

The audience member who attends the most events will be invited to lunch at UAlbany’s 1844 Restaurant with our director, Paul Grondahl.

(In case of a tie, we’ll hold a random drawing.)

So grab your Passport, mark your calendar with our events, and let’s make this 42nd season one to remember.
