Thanks to our friends at the Upper Hudson Library System, especially System Support Associate Anne Myers, you can now browse and borrow more than 70 books by writers appearing at the NYS Writers Institute this fall.
Using the Libby app, you'll find books and audiobooks by familiar writers, including Kai Bird, Elizabeth Kolbert, Lois Lowry, Douglas Brinkley, William Kennedy, Richard Brookhiser, and Carol Gilligan.
The collection also includes Suketu Mehta's This Land is Our Land; Arash Azizi's What Iranians Want; Keith McNally's memoir I Regret Almost Everything, winner of the 2026 Gotham Book Prize; and Namwali Serpell's national bestseller, On Morrison, her exploration of Nobel Prize-winning author and former UAlbany professor Toni Morrison.
