Discovering Your Voice (Rising 10th-12th Graders)
The NYS Writers Institute is a co-sponsor of the Discovering Your Voice workshop each year.
These workshops are designed for young people who love to write and who enjoy collaborating with other writers. Workshop facilitators are gifted and experienced K-12 educators from across the Capital Region.
Workshops will run July 13-17 at the University at Albany campus.
July 13-17 -- 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
For rising 10th – 12th graders

About Discovering Your Voice:
This full-day creative writing workshop is for highly motivated and creative high school students who are eager to develop their craft and to find their voice in a supportive writing community.
Highlights:
• Visits and readings from acclaimed guest authors (Janine DeTillio Cammarata; C.M. Waggoner, D. Colin, and Aaron Moore)
• Small class size
• One-on-one writing conferences
• Expert guidance from exemplary writing teachers
• Lunch provided
• Culminating celebratory showcase
