Have you always wanted to read Moby-Dick, but just needed a little push?

Ahoy, here is your chance!

The NYS Writers Institute, Historic Albany Foundation, and Discover Albany, are co-hosting the Moby Dick Book Club, where attendees meet monthly and commit to reading Herman Melville's epic novel in advance of the Albany Book Festival on Saturday, Sept. 14.

Final meeting, where we discuss the conclusion of Moby-Dick will be 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the Albany Pump Station, 19 Quackenbush Square.

Haven't finished the book? Haven't started? Come anyway and raise a toast to The Whale!

The cost per meeting is $5 for Historic Albany Foundation members and $10 for non-members.
