This week's NYS Summer Writers Institute events

The sun did not shine.

It was too wet to play.

So we sat in the house.

All that cold, cold, wet day.

~ Dr. Seuss, The Cat in the Hat

The second week of our NYS Summer Writers Institute begins this evening with novelist Rick Moody and memoirist Honor Moore. You can catch their readings/talk from the comfort of home via Zoom, no umbrella required.

Public readings will be held 7 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays through July 22.

Each of this week's featured writers, with the exception of Honor Moore, is making a return trip to our Writers Institute, an acknowledgement of their appreciation for you, the audience, and the collegiality and conversation they enjoy with Skidmore College Professor Robert Boyers, who founded the NYS Summer Writers Institute. Join us this week. We'll see you on Zoom!
