Friday, April 29: The Barzakh Magazine Spring Celebration

Featuring live music from Doctor Baker as well as short readings of prose and poetry from the digital pages of Barzakh, an online literary and arts journal run by the graduate students in the English department at the University at Albany.

Saturday, April 30: Selected Shorts

The hit public radio and podcast series returns with a program of dazzling and original short fiction performed by actors of stage and screen. Actors Patricia Kalember (The Tick), Bhavesh Patel (The Good Wife) and Rita Wolf (various NYC Theatre companies) bring to life stories of revenge-seeking children, parties in the face of apocalypse, and finding love on the side of a building.

Sunday, May 1: Magical Indigo: An indigo-dyeing workshop

A talk with Hawaiian textile artist Darius Homayounpour, followed by a hands-on indigo-dyeing workshop.
Our kickoff event to mark Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month starting May 1.We will supply the materials and you’ll create a piece of indigo art.
